Login Information

Who has remote access to Mohawk Library's licensed electronic resources?
Remote access to these resources is available only to current Mohawk ID holders: the current faculty, students and staff.

What is my login? Your login is identical to the login you use for the College portal MoCoMotion (username: firstname.lastname (e.g. john.doe) and the password that you created in MoCoMotion.)

Note: The login to access the library's licensed electronic resources is your MoCoMotion login; however the login to access your library account is different. The login to access your library account is your firstname.lastname (e.g. john.doe) and your password is your student number without the leading zeros. You will be prompted to change your password immediately after logging in to your library account - you may wish to make this password identical to your MoCoMotion password.

What is my password?
Post Secondary students receive their MoCoMotion User ID and Password on their fee statements.

Continuing Education students receive their MoCoMotion User ID and Password on the "Continuing Education Acknowledgement of Registration & Student Account" form that they will receive in the mail after they register. Specifically, their User ID and Password will be in the top right corner of that form.

If you have never logged in before, and need help finding your user name or password, please call the Registration Centre at (905) 575-2000 or 1-866-410-4795.

How do I change my password?
To change your password, log in to MoCoMotion and click the "My Account" link located in the top left corner of the screen. You can use this password to access the library's licensed electronic resources. For other MoCoMotion login-related issues, please see this MoCoMotion FAQ.

If you are unable to log in to MoCoMotion, please call the Helpdesk (available Monday to Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.) at 905-575-2199 or 1-866-410-4795 ext. 2199 to have your password reset.

How do I log in?

  1. Start with the A-Z List of All Databases or your program page and select a database. You will be prompted for your Library Username and Password once you select a resource.
  2. Enter your username (firstname.lastname) and password.
  3. Your login will stay active while your browser remains open. Should you close it, you will be required to login again.
